Description:: A Book of Hours written on parchment and illuminated between 1485-1490 in the Rouen workshop of the Master of the Echevinage in collaboration with artist workshops in Tours. The illuminations are attributed to at least five different hands: the Master of the Echevinage de Rouen (8), Jean Bourdichon (2), a follower of Jean Fouquet (6), the Master of Jean Charpentier (9), and the workshop of the Master of the Echevinage (calendar miniatures and secondary illumination). The pink velvet cover dates to a rebinding, probably in the 17th century. The link with Rouen is confirmed in the suffrages and litany, but not the calendar of feasts. Almost all folios with full-page miniatures were removed from the bound volume in the 20th century. The three miniatures that remain in the book are the Annuncation (f.35r), Harrowing of Hell (f.74r) and Ego sum (f.116v).
