- Fashion plate from the Magasin des Modes Nouvelles (year 3, no. 14) published in Paris on 30 March 1788 with three hand-coloured engravings made by A. B. Duhamel (1736 - after 1800) after designs by Jean Florent Defraine (1754 - after 1804) printed on a single sheet showing the personifications of Innocence between Vice and Virtue. Innocence seems to be paying more attention to Vice (plate 3) than to Virtue (plate 1). The woman in plate one is wearing 'demi-négligente'
