Jade book entitled 'Poems by the emperor: Fragrant flowers and spring birds; Clear moon and pure breeze' (Yuzhi fu de huaxiang niao yu yue ji feng qing shi), written in Chinese in the manner of the calligraphy of Liang Guozhi, engraved and gilded on four folios of nephrite jade bound with silk mounts and wooden covers; made in China during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795). The volume includes subtractive monotypes of each jade folio. In the preface, the Qianlong Emperor notes that he composed these poems with regard to two scrolls displayed in the palace.
