Colour woodblock print, 'Hanaōgi of the Ōgiya house' from the series 'Beauties of the green houses as six floral immortals' (Seirō bijin rokkasen) by Chōbunsai Eishi, printed in Japan, around 1794. Ōban format, nishiki-e print. The Chester Beatty's impression of the print does not carry the censor seal or publisher's mark (of Nishimuraya Yohachi) found on other impressions of this print. The colouring of one of the woman's robes (here in black) also varies between these works.
