Mezzotint double portrait on paper of husband and wife Grinling Gibbons (1648-1721) and Elizabeth Gibbons (d.1719), engraved and published by John Smith (1652-1743) in London c. 1691. It is a copy of a painting by John Closterman (1660-1711), current whereabouts unknown. Grinling, a stone sculptor and wood-carver, leans on a stone block carved which three putti while Elizabeth holds a string of pearls.
