- Book of Solomon (Suleymannama) by Sharaf al-Din Musa, Firdausi of Bursa. Codex, ink, colours and gold on paper, 332 folios, Arabic and Persian text in naskh script, illuminated headings, spaces left blank throughout for illustrations never included, dedicated to Ottoman Sultan Bayazid II (r. 1481-1512), Istanbul, Turkey, c. 1480-1510. The first two folios of this manuscript feature a double-page frontispiece painting of Solomon and Bilqis (Queen of Sheba) enthroned: these have been detached from the codex and are also in the Chester Beatty: T 406.1 and T 406.2.
