Goobi
Fragment from a folio from the Book of Jeremiah (R966), written in Greek with ink on papyrus; made in Egypt and dated to the third century AD. The text follows the Septuagint, or Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible.
The manuscript currently comprises fragments from two consecutive leaves from the codex of Jeremiah. This is the smaller of the two fragments. This is one of the eleven Chester Beatty Biblical Papyri codices acquired by Beatty in the early 1930s.
