Papyrus fragments preserving the Martyrdom of St Cephalon, an unknown Coptic martyr, executed under the prefect of Egypt, Clodius Culcianus. Text written in Sahidic Coptic in Egypt and dated to the 6th or 7th century AD. Text on both sides (presumably continuous) suggests the fragment originally formed part of a codex. The text features the prefect presiding over the martyr's trial, Cephalon the martyr, and a third figure whose name is broken, perhaps Eusebios. (See also Cpt 2022)
