Colour woodblock print representing a poem by Ono no Komachi from an untitled series of Six poetic immortals attributed to artist Shiba Kōkan, printed in Japan between 1770 and 1771. Chūban format, nishiki-e print. Although signed for Suzuki Harunobu, it is thought that this print is one of a small number of works created after his death by the artist Shiba Kōkan. Sometimes styled Suzuki Harunobu II, Kōkan later adopted the artist name Suzuki Harushige.
